I have put a lot of time on the project...Almost a whole semester time is invested on it. Just like last semester robocon, ELEC 254 had became the things that motivate me to live.
第一次選修的社會科學科，講的是人性及社會心理。The lecturer, Dr. Oi-yee Michelle Yik, is very good, especially in delivering and making the lectures live.
雖是有趣，但是這一科工作卻比主科更重，最後考試的成績只是不過不失。
A probability course. It was very easy at start but getting damn difficult by the end of semester. The exam paper were almost a direct copy from lecture notes but I still don't know how to answer them!...
With the "help" of absolute grading scheme, I got the first C range...
由於講師 Bo Li 經常走堂的關係，要努煩其他教授頂替。As a result, the projects and exam papers' quality is compromised. 有實又的學生都對這科的評級方法較為不滿。
Lecturer is good (Dr. Siu-Wing Cheng) but the garding is bad. That's it.
沒有想像中的難，但都已經很難。

This year we had the competition at Manila (again) and Shanghai (Jiaotong)...Well, not much surprise here.

家裏的網路一切運作良好，花了數星期來架的伺服器和設備終於到了收成的階段。It is much easier in setting up Linux server today, the Samba and printer drivers are much mature now. Thanks to the new standard and both OS commitments to the standards.
Firefox is getting more acceptance in world wide, and it's compatibility is much better today. I have probably converted 5 to 10 people in using Firefox :).
想不到也有人對 Dvorak 有興趣，有一位朋友在好奇心推動下，最後把 Dvorak 設定為其預設輸入法呢。
在截止前一刻遞交外國交換生計劃的申請表，TOEFL 也還未排期考。Luckily enough the exam can be scheduled online, and result can be delivered within 3 weeks. Or else I can't even apply for exchange.
And without any preparation, I have got 246 in TOEFL (Computer Based)...Is my English improved? I wonder if it would be better if I did prepared for that.
It's time for registration. And this time I pulled my friend (again the one who worked with me in ELEC 254) to play. And smoothly we both assigned to the same team as core team members.
Hopefully we can do much better this time :)
其實早在暑假時已經計劃了，ELEC 254 的成品用來當作 PRS 的發射器。But before it can be used to transmit the signal, we need to study the signal first. Becaus the hardware are planned to work with that, it just took a days to write up the program for collecting PRS signal.
很容易地看到了 PRS 的訊號格式，當中包含一個不知怎樣加密而成的密碼。For decrypting that code, we put our product in lecture threaters to collect the PRS signal, and there are more than hundred signals collected after several days work.
Project partner 很努力地研究接收回來的訊號，期間似乎成為了他的精神依靠呢，但最後都未能解拆其加密方法。
